Detmold – The Ecclesia Group is again strengthening its management team: On August 1, 2024, Andrea Michalczyk-Schröder will take over as head of the “Specialty” division. At the same time, she will become a member of the management team and report directly to Jochen Körner, CEO of the Ecclesia Group. The aim is not only to drive the further development and optimization of the respective specialty insurance businesses, but also to ensure close integration with the Ecclesia business units, with the goal of being able to offer even better customer solutions.

Detmold – The Ecclesia Group is again strengthening its management team: On August 1, 2024, Andrea Michalczyk-Schröder will take over as head of the “Specialty” division. At the same time, she will become a member of the management team and report directly to Jochen Körner, CEO of the Ecclesia Group. The aim is not only to drive the further development and optimization of the respective specialty insurance businesses, but also to ensure close integration with the Ecclesia business units, with the goal of being able to offer even better customer solutions.

Detmold – The Ecclesia Group is once again strengthening its management team: On 1 August 2024, Andrea Michalczyk-Schröder will take over as head of the “Specialty” division. At the same time, she will become a member of the management team and report directly to Jochen Körner, CEO of the Ecclesia Group. The aim is not only to drive the further development and optimization of the respective specialty insurance businesses, but also to ensure close integration with the Ecclesia business units, with the goal of being able to offer even better customer solutions.

With the takeover of the newly created Specialty division, Andrea Michalczyk-Schröder will in future have overall responsibility for the Ecclesia Credit business unit, the Construction and Cyber competence centers, the specialty broker PP Business Protection and the M&A broker LIVA. In addition, she will take over the activities for the Financial Lines Tradition division from Carsten Stracke and ensure group-wide coordination. In her role, she will not only drive the further development and optimization of the respective business areas, but also ensure close and company-wide integration with our business segments.
Andrea Michalczyk-Schröder has in-depth expertise in the insurance market. After studying law and obtaining a master's degree in media law, the trained banker and fully qualified lawyer initially held various positions at the industrial insurance broker Marsh. She then moved to the insurance broker Aon, where she initially worked as a strategic broker and line of business specialist. She is currently head of the Financial Service Group there and also works as a lecturer for D&O and professional indemnity at the EBS Executive School of EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in Wiesbaden.
