Ecclesia Group strengthens its pension business with the full acquisition of the IWV Group

On 21 July 2026, the Ecclesia Group acquired all the shares in IWV Institut für Wirtschaftsmathematik und betriebliche Versorgungssysteme GmbH, based in Feldkirchen, and its subsidiary Invita Secur GmbH. The Ecclesia Group already held a minority stake in the IWV Group. With this full acquisition, it is strengthening its range of services in the field of occupational pension schemes, particularly for large enterprises and clients with complex requirements.

IWV Institut für Wirtschaftsmathematik und betriebliche Versorgungssysteme GmbH is a recognised specialist in actuarial services and consultancy on occupational pension schemes. Among other things, the company supports its clients with the actuarial valuation, design, implementation and administration of occupational pension schemes. In addition, IWV operates a digital platform that consolidates key processes relating to complex pension schemes. Invita Secur GmbH is the brokerage arm of the IWV Group and specialises in occupational pension schemes.

“IWV enjoys an excellent reputation in the market and is recognised for its exceptional depth of expertise in actuarial services and occupational pension provision. With this expertise, we are strengthening our offering precisely where companies increasingly require individualised, reliable and easily implementable solutions. In particular, we will be able to support large enterprises and clients with sophisticated pension schemes even more comprehensively in future,” says Tobias Bailer, Managing Director of Ecclesia Pension & Benefits GmbH.

“For IWV, it was crucial to secure a long-term partner who understands our specialisation and, at the same time, opens up additional opportunities for our clients. With the Ecclesia Group, we can continue to deliver our high standard of expertise and reliable advice in occupational pensions and further expand this within a strong corporate network,” says Martin Bauer, Managing Director of IWV Institut für Wirtschaftsmathematik und betriebliche Versorgungssysteme GmbH. Together with Andreas Gruber and Dr Thomas Kick, Martin Bauer will continue to lead the management of IWV following the merger with the Ecclesia Group.
