Strong training year at Ecclesia
Detmold (ecc). A strong team: 40 new apprentices and dual students are now taking their first steps in the Ecclesia Group's professional life.
The picture
The range of apprenticeships at Germany's largest insurance broker for companies and institutions is broad: 23 young women and men have opted for the apprenticeship as insurance and financial investment clerks. In addition to this training, 13 dual students are aiming to obtain a bachelor's degree in insurance or business administration. One apprentice is learning the profession of IT specialist, while another dual student is combining this training with a bachelor's degree in business informatics. This year's intake also includes a dual student of business law and a student in the dual master's program in risk and insurance.
By far the largest share of the new recruits will begin their training at the Ecclesia Group's headquarters in Detmold. However, Munich, Cologne and other cities where the Ecclesia Group or its associated companies SCHUNCK and deas Deutsches Assekuranzmakler maintain branches are also training locations.
Three introductory days in Detmold made it easier for the new recruits to get started. Denny Tesch, CFO of Ecclesia Holding, welcomed the new employees together with their supervisors from the human resources department. They explained the corporate values, the basic tasks of an insurance broker and the group's business fields to the trainees.
Denny Tesch emphasized that Ecclesia offers its trainees prospects for their entire working life. This is because the group trains for its own needs and offers its employees a wide range of opportunities in Detmold or at one of the other locations in Germany and abroad. He, too, completed an insurance apprenticeship at the very beginning of his career, Denny Tesch reported. He still draws on what he learned back then. “You only realize how interesting the insurance industry is once you're in it,” said the Ecclesia CFO, congratulating the young people on their career choice. It offers a secure and robust basis: “We continue to grow strongly and look forward to continuing the success story of the Ecclesia Group together with you.”
In the further course of their training, the apprentices and dual students will not only receive the theoretical and practical tools for their profession. They will also be given a wide range of opportunities for personal development.
The selection process for the 2023 training year is already underway. You can find out more about this at ausbildung.ecclesia.de.
