Ecconnect enables fully digital contract and claims management. All processes are securely stored in a digital file and can be processed directly there. Storing information directly in the correct claims or contract file not only saves employees time, but also strengthens collaboration from the home office. Employees access the same file structure and can assign their own keywords for orientation – this creates order and facilitates an overview, especially in complex contract and claims files.
 

Full transparency in real time

Immediately after the customer portal has been set up, users can access all contract and claim details – this creates full transparency. This means that every customer can get an overview themselves. “We can make our customers' work easier with little effort,” reports Alina Elberich. “In my time as a claims handler, I have often seen how quickly customers find their way around ecconnect and how positively they perceive communication with us. Users can track the processing of their requests in real time – a real added value!”

As a customer, you can report new claims or policy changes conveniently and securely via ecconnect. The transmission is encrypted and GDPR-compliant. You can submit additional documents such as fire brigade plans, change reports, or photos of the damage, cost estimates and invoices at the same time. The number, size or file format are irrelevant. “We always explain the file transfer options to our customers using the '3-no-matters-rule',” explains Alina Elberich's colleague Marius Haupert. ”No matter what, no matter how big and no matter which format – the customer can send the file to the case workers via broker message or upload it to the contract or claims file for storage.”

The 29-year-old insurance salesman has been helping customers set up ecconnect for several years. The further development of the customer portal is also the responsibility of the three IT consultants Alina Elberich, Marius Haupert and Markus Niggemeier, who support our customers on their way to digital claims and contract management.

Particularly in the case of complicated claims or complex contracts, a digital file can quickly grow due to the large amount of data. To help you find the information you are looking for quickly and easily, ecconnect includes a keyword search, among other things.

The data we collect for you in contract and claims processing can be converted into accurate statistics with just a few clicks. The statistics tool allows you to display claims by type or as an individual claims overview, and with just one click you can export them as a PDF or Excel file and display them in various diagram types.

The customer portal does not require any installation in the IT system. Ecconnect is a web-based application that can be started with all common internet browsers such as Firefox, Chrome or Edge. This allows users to access ecconnect from anywhere – provided they are connected to the internet. The increasing flexibility of the workplace often places high demands on IT systems. ecconnect offers a simple way for many customers to collaborate digitally.
